Construction dust is not ordinary dust. It is fine, abrasive and it settles again and again as the house is disturbed. That is why a builders clean is a methodical top-to-bottom process, not a quick tidy.
We work from the ceiling down and from the back of the house forward so nothing already cleaned is recontaminated.
A builders clean happens once the trades are off site but before final inspection or handover. It is the heavier job, dealing with construction debris and the worst of the dust.
A handover or move-in clean is the final detail pass, usually a day or two before the owner takes possession. Many clients book both. If your build is being handed over in stages, we can work around the sequence rather than waiting for everything to finish.
New surfaces are easy to damage and expensive to repair. Engineered stone benchtops, matte black tapware, acrylic shower liners, powder coated joinery and unsealed timber all need the right product and the right cloth.
We use pH neutral products and non-abrasive tools by default, and we test anything stronger in an inconspicuous spot first. Getting the dust off matters, but not at the cost of a scratched benchtop on day one.
Build programmes move. A date that is set on Monday can slip to Thursday, and we plan for that rather than penalising you for it. Give us as much notice as you can and we will work with the site schedule.

Once all trades have finished and the site is clear. If painters or floor layers return afterwards, the dust comes back, so it is worth confirming the programme first.
